Apart from its silencer, how else is it different to an S 101 GTI?
It goes without saying that with the Silence design, we have optimised another important feature of the rifle. The comb’s height is now no longer adjusted via the external knurled screws but using two hex socket screws recessed into the stock. These can be adjusted using the universal multi-key tool, which is integrated into the rear sling swivel. This keeps the comb in place so that it can no longer inadvertently loosen if the rifle gets caught on blackberry brambles, for example.
In which particular situations would you recommend the S 101 Silence GTI?
The S 101 Silence GTI is fundamentally suitable for all types of hunting. Its advantages really come into their own when hunting at night because of the virtually silenced muzzle flashes and on driven hunts because of the minimised muzzle flip and top balance. It also perfectly rounds off our portfolio of rifles with integrated silencers because hunters who value a modular hunting rif le and elegant stock wood can opt for the traditional and elegant S 404 Silence. Those who want state-ofthe- art materials for their hunting rifle will probably prefer the S 404 Synchro XTC Silence with its handcrafted carbon stock. By contrast, the new S 101 Silence GTI appeals to the more price-conscious or novice hunter who wants a sporty, elegant, and ergonomic hunting rifle with all the details and features, from the butt plate to the muzzle, which make it a genuine Sauer rifle.
